The founders of the research center include three full-time faculty members (ophthalmologist) and three part-time faculty members (ophthalmologist and epidemiologist). Moreover, twenty five ophthalmologists and two epidemiologists (part-time) work in this center. Other staff are full-time personnel of the center.
